Frederick Philip Parkinson, Esq. was Gold Warden and Police Magistrate at Croydon. He later went on to take up a similar position at Georgetown. Parkinson had a long career on the goldfields of Queensland that began in November 1883, when he was appointed to the position of District Registrar on the Etheridge goldfield.
